It’s in my fingers, you see
The very tips of them are alive
Entire galaxies swirl and dance
And birth life after life, star after star

I trail them through pools of water
And endless brick walls
And feathery fern leaves
And I feel life pulsing, feeding, healing

It’s in my fingers

In my fingers that reach for you
And find emptiness and not emptiness
I scoop up star stuff and cosmic breath
And rivers of song and oceans of chaos
Creative chaos leaving its mark everywhere

And I remember and I can’t quite believe I forgot

We are all stars.
